Effective date: October 18, 2026.
This agreement governs the Encrypted Syntax Labs Reporting Command Center software, signed runtime images, recovery tooling, documentation, updates, and license credential supplied with an order (the Product). By downloading, installing, activating, or using the Product, the purchaser agrees to these terms.
License grant
Encrypted Syntax Labs grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to operate one purchased Product entitlement on no more than three durable server installations: one production server, one recovery or warm-standby server, and one nonproduction acceptance or training server. Browser and tablet users who access those licensed servers do not consume separate activations.
The purchaser may make reasonable encrypted archival copies for disaster recovery. The purchaser may not publish, resell, share, lease, sublicense, redistribute, defeat licensing controls, make the Product available as a competing hosted service, or provide the license credential to another person or organization. Contractors may operate the Product solely for the purchaser, under the purchaser’s control and confidentiality obligations.
Customer ownership and responsibility
The purchaser retains ownership of its branding, projects, client information, findings, evidence, reports, keys, provider credentials, and other data. Encrypted Syntax Labs receives no ownership interest in that material and has no hidden support account or routine telemetry feed.
The purchaser is responsible for lawful authorization to test systems, the accuracy and legality of report content, host and network security, identity and email configuration, backups and recovery keys, third-party subscriptions, employee access, retention requirements, and all decisions made using the Product. The Product may be used only for authorized security work and other lawful purposes.
Integrity, updates, and modifications
Supported releases are publisher-signed and checksum-bound. Modified images, migrations, deployment definitions, or licensing controls are outside the standard support boundary. The purchaser must verify signatures before installation and update, preserve a compatible backup and rollback release, and follow the published update procedure.
The purchase includes product updates and standard customer support for the supported lifetime of the Reporting Command Center product, subject to the published support policy and supported-version requirements. A perpetual license does not promise hosting, third-party services, custom development, customer infrastructure administration, professional penetration-testing services, or guaranteed perpetual feature expansion.
Restrictions and confidentiality
The purchaser may not attempt to extract or redistribute proprietary implementation material except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law. License credentials, publisher signatures, private delivery keys, and recovery identities must be protected from unauthorized disclosure. Copyright, trademark, and attribution notices may not be removed from the software interface or distribution materials, although generated customer reports use the purchaser’s approved branding rather than Encrypted Syntax Labs branding.
Warranty and liability boundary
The Product is professional security-reporting software, not legal advice, a guarantee of security, or a substitute for independent technical and business judgment. Except for rights and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, the Product is supplied according to the written order and published documentation without additional implied warranties.
Suspension and termination
Encrypted Syntax Labs may suspend or revoke a credential associated with a refunded, charged-back, fraudulent, shared, or materially breached order. Suspension places the installed application into documented read-only recovery behavior; it does not delete or encrypt customer data. Upon termination, the purchaser must stop using and distributing the Product but may use documented export and recovery functions as permitted by the applicable order and mandatory law.
