ENCRYPTED SYNTAX LABS
Terms of Use
About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to encryptedsyntaxlabs.com, operated as the digital-product division of Encrypted Syntax Institute LLC. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Website information
Product pages, screenshots, pricing, availability, and descriptions are provided for informational and commercial purposes. We work to keep published information accurate, but product details may be corrected or updated. The marketplace listing and documentation delivered with a purchase control the included files, features, license, and other specific purchase details at the time of sale.
Purchases and payment processing
Products may be purchased directly through encryptedsyntaxlabs.com using the payment methods displayed at checkout. Direct website payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider identified during checkout; Encrypted Syntax Labs does not receive complete payment-card numbers. When an official Etsy or other marketplace option is offered, that provider’s transaction, account, payment, and marketplace-specific refund terms also apply. The applicable product listing, checkout disclosures, delivered license, and published product policies control pricing, delivery, licensing, support, and refund eligibility for that purchase.
Digital products and licenses
Encrypted Syntax Labs products may include software, fabrication plans, drawings, templates, build kits, checklists, documentation, and other downloadable materials. A purchase provides only the rights stated in the applicable listing and delivered license; it does not transfer ownership of source code, designs, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
Reporting Command Center™ is self-hosted software sold under a perpetual three-server license permitting production, recovery or warm standby, and nonproduction acceptance or training installations. Browser and tablet users accessing those licensed servers do not consume separate activations. The Reporting Command Center License Agreement controls the complete license scope. GCOS PRO™ currently authorizes up to two users and three devices for the purchasing business unless its applicable listing or license states otherwise.
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, post publicly, share purchased files outside the permitted license, remove ownership notices, circumvent licensing controls, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or use a product to violate law or third-party rights.
Updates and support
When a product listing states that lifetime product updates are included, that means updates released for the life of that product. It does not promise a particular release schedule, perpetual compatibility with every future operating system or third-party service, or development of any specific future feature.
Self-service documentation and ordinary license assistance may be included as described in the product materials. Live support, remote configuration, customization, data entry, consulting, or scheduled assistance may require a separate fee.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing information entered into software, maintaining appropriate backups, protecting product keys and account credentials, securing authorized devices, and independently confirming decisions involving estimates, measurements, contracts, accounting, taxes, engineering, legal compliance, safety, or financial matters.
For plans, drawings, templates, and build kits, you are responsible for checking dimensions, materials, tools, tolerances, site conditions, equipment capability, local rules, permits, and safe work practices before beginning work.
Fabrication plans and build safety
Fabrication plans and build materials are informational resources, not site-specific engineering, architecture, surveying, code-compliance, or safety certification. Conditions vary. Use qualified professionals when a project involves structural loads, electricity, gas, plumbing, vehicles, machinery, lifting, fire risk, hazardous materials, regulated work, or any condition where an error could cause injury or property damage. Follow manufacturer instructions and use appropriate training, guards, ventilation, personal protective equipment, and inspections.
Third-party and connected services
Products or webpages may link to or optionally connect with third-party services such as marketplaces, mapping providers, licensing services, supplier websites, or operating-system stores. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and may change, limit access, charge fees, or become unavailable.
Intellectual property
Encrypted Syntax Labs, Encrypted Syntax Institute LLC, product names, logos, artwork, software, website content, documentation, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the website or services, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, abuse support channels, scrape or copy protected content at scale, impersonate another person or business, or use the website or products for unlawful activity.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. Products are practical tools and informational resources. Software outputs, plans, drawings, templates, and build notes are not accounting, tax, legal, financial, engineering, architectural, safety, surveying, or code-compliance advice or certification.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Encrypted Syntax Institute LLC and Encrypted Syntax Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss of data arising from use of the website, digital products, fabricated items, external services, or inability to use them. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms, change or discontinue website content, or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or business operations. The effective date will be updated when revised terms are published.
